ZweigWhite expands 2014 Best Firms to Work For awards program

FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. — ZweigWhite announced that the 14th annual Best Firms To Work For award opens for entries on January 20, 2014. According to the company, improvements to the awards program make the entry process for companies and employees easier while providing a larger conference with expanded networking and educational opportunities.

The Best Firms To Work For Award recognizes employers in the architecture, engineering, planning and environmental industry for their superior practices, policies, people, and places that make great work environments and set them apart from their peers. The award is given in five categories: civil engineering, multidiscipline, environmental, structural engineering, and architecture.

“Since The Best Firms To Work For list began in 2001, hundreds of outstanding design firms have been recognized for this achievement and have benefited from the positive exposure. Being on The Best Firms To Work For list brings feedback, inspiration, and recognition,” said ZweigWhite executive vice president, Chad Clinehens. “We believe it is important to recognize employers that invest time and money to make the workplace a great place for employees to spend their careers”

“This year we are combining our awards programs together into one large conference that offers top management, human resources, financial, and marketing professionals increased networking and educational opportunities.” Clinehens said. “Our annual Zweig Letter Hot Firm list of top performing companies will host an expanded A/E industry awards gala that includes recognition of The Best Firms To Work For and Marketing Awards winners.”

The 2014 Best Firms To Work For process includes more time for employers to complete the entry process while simplifying the amount of information needed. The 2014 deadlines are as follows:

• Monday January 20, 2014 — Entry period begins for the Corporate Survey
• Friday March 21, 2014 — Deadline for submitting the Corporate Survey
• Monday February 17, 2014 — Entry period begins for the Employee Survey
• Friday April 18, 2014 — Deadline for submitting the Employee Survey
• Late June — Winners notified
• September 25-26, 2014 — Rankings announced at Hot Firm and A/E Industry Awards Conference in Los Angeles
