FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. — ZweigWhite announced a new marketing and sales seminar, “Becoming a Better Seller,” that teaches design and technical professionals the latest and most effective approaches for developing business in the recovering economy. The new one-day seminar, designed for engineers, architects, environmental, and planning professionals who work in consulting firms where they are expected to bring in new projects, will be held at various dates around the United States in 2014.

“Seller-doers are tremendous assets to their firms and now is the time to get them out there bringing in new business” said ZweigWhite founder and CEO, Mark Zweig. “This seminar is designed by design, technical, and marketing professionals for others like them and teaches the latest techniques and proven approaches that work for winning work from clients that A/E/P and environmental firms serve.”

The new curriculum includes subjects such as strategic targeting, cold calling made easy, winning proposals and presentations, managing the selling/BD effort, and maximizing client loyalty. Becoming a Better Seller shows attendees how to describe their services in a succinct and persuasive way that helps set their firms apart from the competition and win more work.

“We are seeing a convincing recovery in our industry that offers firms an opportunity to capture business they have been unable to attain over the past seven years,” Zweig said. “Firms [that] invest now in getting their people out there selling effectively will be the leaders of the recovery.”
