WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff acquires Mexico City-based structural firm

New York — WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff acquired Diseño Integral y Tecnologia Aplicada S.A. de C.V. (DITEC), a structural design and construction supervision company based in Mexico City, Mexico.

Founded 10 years ago, DITEC is a company dedicated to high-rise structural design and construction supervision for residential, office, commercial and mixed-use buildings. The firm works on a range of projects from small structures to high-rise buildings, mainly for private clients, architects, construction firms and investors. The company also contracts with the government, providing design and project supervision services.

According to Gregory Kelly, CEO and President of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff in the U.S., Central and South America, “We are very pleased to have DITEC join our firm allowing us to establish a presence in the Mexican market. DITEC will integrate with our business in Latin America enabling us to enter the structural design and construction supervision markets across the region.

“DITEC will also create business opportunities and revenue synergies with our robust buildings practice in the United States,” Mr. Kelly added. WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff provides building engineering services, including structural, MEP and related specialty services, to a wide variety of both public and private sector clients. In additional to buildings, the firm supports private and public clients in advisory services, environment, industrial and energy as well as the transportation and infrastructure sectors.
