Woodard & Curran Board of Director’s Chair Doug McKeown is pleased to announce the appointment of two Internal Directors, Jennifer Anders and Sue Guswa, who were elected by the firm’s Senior Principals at the recent Annual Stockholders meeting. Senior Client Manager Jennifer Anders and National Practice Leader Sue Guswa will each serve 3-year terms beginning in July, while also serving on one of the Board Committees.
Anders joined Woodard & Curran in 2014 and is a Senior Client Manager and Senior Principal based in the firm’s St. Charles, MO office. She has extensive experience in public and industrial sectors with a thorough understanding of the O&M and consulting business. She brings a geographically diverse experience within those markets and has been critical in establishing and growing Woodard & Curran’s business in the Midwest.
Guswa joined Woodard & Curran in 2016 and is National Practice Leader for Municipal Wastewater and a Senior Principal based in the firm’s Northampton, MA office. She brings diverse experience in client management and project delivery, and impressive depth of technical expertise. Guswa was instrumental in the development of a unified Community of Practice for our wastewater practitioners that connects people across business units and geographies. She has also taken on leadership roles in industry associations such as the California Water Environment Association, New England Water Environment Association, and Water Environment Federation.
Woodard & Curran’s Board is composed of the nine voting members; the CEO plus eight elected positions which includes five internal and three external Directors. The Board operates with four committees: Finance, Compensation & HR, Governance & Nomination, and Strategic Priorities. The firm is pleased to note that with the addition of Anders and Guswa, four of the firm’s 9 directors are women. The Board also has the option of asking the outgoing CEO to continue to serve as Chair, which is currently the case.
