London, UK – Wood Thilsted, the leading offshore wind engineering consultancy, is pleased to announce the appointment of Paula Thomas as Wood Thilsted’s Chief Financial Officer.
Paula has spent over 25 years working as a Chartered Accountant across a broad sector of industries including engineering, manufacturing, and services. She has been responsible for building and leading finance teams that have supported the growth and development of a wide range of businesses investing to further accelerate growth.
In her most recent role, Paula led group support services from finance to IT and legal to facilities. She was key in raising funding for the purchase of a new site and subsequent sales & lease back, as well as the integration of two manufacturing locations and overseeing potential acquisitions while driving profitability across all the businesses within the group.
