Registration and housing is open for WEFTEC.07, the Water Environment Federation’s 80th Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference. This year’s event will be held Oct. 13-17, 2007, at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, Calif.
WEFTEC offers 119 technical sessions, 29 workshops, and eight facility tours on a wide range of topics and focus areas. Attendees can earn as many as 35 contact hours for continuing education units and nine professional development hours. More than 20 focus areas include water reuse/recycling, utility management, infrastructure sustainability, membrane technologies, compounds of potential concern, and nutrients.
An exhibition provides access to the latest developments, research, regulations, solutions, and technologies in the field. To date, more than 880 companies have reserved exhibit space at the San Diego Convention Center.
The opening general session is Sunday, Oct. 14, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Technical sessions are scheduled Monday through Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and the exhibition is open Monday through Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
