Irvine, Calif. — Ware Malcomb has been recognized for its leadership in social media outreach at the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) National Marketing Communications Awards. The firm won awards in the Social Media category in three of the past four years. The awards were presented last week at the SMPS national conference in San Antonio, Texas. This is Ware Malcomb’s 10th SMPS award, reflecting the firm’s ongoing commitment to innovation in marketing.

Ware Malcomb is widely recognized as an early adopter of social media in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry, launching its program in 2009 under the leadership of Ruth Brajevich, Chief Marketing Officer. Brajevich was recently named one of the top 25 most influential CMOs to follow on Twitter (@WareMalcombCMO) by CEOWORLD Magazine, and is a frequent speaker and article contributor on the topic of social media for industry groups including SMPS, NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association, and Commercial Real Estate Women – Orange County.
