Enhancing alternative delivery for more efficient, innovative project outcomes.

Watertown, MA – As owners and clients continue to explore ways to accelerate project schedules, reduce costs, and increase collaboration, alternative delivery has become a preferred procurement option. Chris Fronheiser, PE, joins VHB as National Director, Alternative Delivery to strengthen the company’s alternative delivery capabilities, streamline project delivery, and implement innovative solutions. In this new role, he will be responsible for partnering with VHB leadership to identify, win, and deliver key projects, as well as manage and nurture contractor relationships throughout VHB’s footprint.

“Chris’s alternative project delivery experience comprises design-build, progressive design-build, and design-build-finance-operate-maintain,” said Executive Markets Lead Steve McElligott. “His knowledge and insight across delivery methods with varying scale and complexity will lead VHB as we enhance innovative, technology-enabled solutions for our clients’ most complex projects.”

Fronheiser received his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Bucknell University.
