TxDOT selects LAN to provide statewide right-of-way services

Houston — The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) selected planning, engineering and program management firm Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) to provide Right of Way Acquisition Professional Services (ROWAPS) on a statewide basis for the next two years.

LAN, which has provided right-of-way services to the agency for the last 16 years, will be responsible for securing land rights for TxDOT projects in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations. The scope of services will include project administration, title and closing, appraisal and review, negotiation, relocation assistance, condemnation support and disposal of property.
