Timothy Strucely and Anna Montez Join LAN as Program Managers

(HOUSTON) Timothy D. Strucely and Anna Elisa Montez joined planning, engineering and program management firm Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) as program managers. They will be responsible for planning, executing and finalizing the design and construction of K-12 school facilities and higher education projects. They also will be responsible for expanding the firm’s program management services in these markets.

Strucely has 30 years of experience as a program manager and architect. He has managed massive capital bond programs from inception to completion, both as an owner’s representative and consultant. Previously, he served the Dallas Independent School District (ISD) as executive director of construction. Prior to that, he served two other school districts in Nevada and Texas in senior leadership roles. Some of the notable capital bond programs he has implemented include Dallas ISD’s $1.6 billion program that included 92 projects, Clark County ISD’s (Nevada) $5.2 billion program comprising 353 campuses, and Round Rock ISD’s $299 million program. Strucely is a registered architect in Texas, is NCARB-certified, and a LEED-accredited professional. He received his bachelor’s degree in architecture from University of Texas, Arlington, and his master’s degree in construction management from Texas A&M University.

Montez has more than 25 years of experience as an architect and project manager, recently specializing in higher education and healthcare facilities. Previously, she worked at a national consulting engineering firm as a senior project manager. In her role, she provided program management services for bond-funded construction and renovation projects for the San Jacinto College System in Houston. Prior to that, she served the Lone Star College System in Houston as a senior project director of facilities, planning and construction. Montez received her bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Texas at Austin. She is registered architect in Texas, is NCARB-certified, and a LEED-accredited professional.
