The 2020 Hammers: The Nemetschek Group Takes Home Four Construction Computing Awards

Industry-wide professionals and real users recognize the Nemetschek Group’s strengths in AEC solutions, services, and innovations

Munich – The Nemetschek Group, one of the world’s largest software providers for the AEC industry, has won four of the prestigious Construction Computing Awards, also known as “The Hammers.” Nemetschek Group brands GRAPHISOFT, Solibri, and Vectorworks, Inc. received the awards for their solutions, service offerings, and innovations.

Graphisoft, awarded BIM Product of the Year for the 10th year in a row for Archicad, and the Mobile Application of the Year for BIMx, was nominated in six categories. Solibri, also announced as a finalist in five categories, won the award for Product of the Year 2020 for Solibri Office. Vectorworks — with nine nominations — won the Architectural Design Software of the Year award for Vectorworks Architect.

“We are honored to win four Hammers in the Group,” said Dr. Axel Kaufmann, spokesman of the Executive Board and CFOO of the Nemetschek Group. “I am particularly impressed by the breadth of awards – for the solutions, services, and approach of our brands. My sincere congratulations and thanks go to the teams at Graphisoft, Solibri, and Vectorworks for their strong customer focus.”

Graphisoft, Vectorworks, and Solibri are part of the Planning & Design division in the Nemetschek Group. The four divisions — Planning & Design, Build & Construct, Manage & Operate, and Media & Entertainment — include 16 brands that stand out in the market through their clear customer focus and an entrepreneurial spirit that drives innovations.

The Construction Computing Awards, also known as “The Hammers,” is in its 15th year. The awards showcase and reward the technology, tools, and solutions used in the effective design, construction, maintenance, and modification of commercial buildings, residential and social housing, and civil engineering projects of all sizes. The 2020 Hammers were announced on November 12, 2020, in a virtual event.
