Tetra Tech awarded $40 million EPC wind energy project

PASADENA, CALIF. — Tetra Tech Inc. has been awarded a $40 million contract to design and build a 152-megawatt (MW) wind farm outside of Woodward, Okla. The company will provide engineering-procurement-construction (EPC) services to CPV Keenan II Renewable Energy Co. LLC for the Keenan II Wind Farm.

Tetra Tech previously completed the upfront environmental and permitting work for this project. Siemens will furnish and erect 66 2.3-MW turbines for the Keenan II Wind Farm. Tetra Tech is responsible for all other aspects of the wind farm design and construction, including electrical collection, transmission lines, grid connection, and wind turbine foundations.

The new Keenan II Wind Farm will be located adjacent to the OU Spirit Wind Farm, a 44-turbine wind farm that Tetra Tech recently completed.
