Terracon recognized for wellbeing program

OLATHE, KAN. – Terracon was announced winner of the 2013 Edington Next Practice Pillar 1, Senior Leadership Award by Edington Associates LLC and CBIZ Employee Services, a division of CBIZ Inc. The Next Practice Awards recognize organizations that are actively engaged in the pursuit of a healthy, high-performing workplace. The awards specifically recognize companies that exhibit distinctive approaches to improving the wellbeing of workplaces and employees and excel in innovation and initiatives.

The Next Practice Award nominees are considered in each of the five core pillars: Senior Leadership, Operational Leadership, Self-Leadership, Recognition and Rewards and Quality Assurance.

A pre-qualification survey was required for award consideration to ensure nominees met minimum criteria across the five pillars of an effective strategy. Judging considerations included enterprise effort and participation, organizational resources dedicated to the initiative, engagement rate and outcomes including employee satisfaction, health and wellness improvements, and productivity.
