Syska Hennessy Group Washington, D.C., office moves to new downtown location

Washington, D.C. — Syska Hennessy Group, Inc., a global consulting, engineering and commissioning firm, relocated its Washington D.C. office to a new site at 1250 H Street NW, close to the city’s core and the downtown business district.

Under the direction of site leader Michael Terrigno, P.E., the Syska Washington, D.C. office has grown substantially over the last few years. The firm has been awarded a number of new projects, including high-profile critical facilities, tenant improvement and large-scale assignments in the federal government, financial, health care and transportation sectors. Ongoing relationships with clients such as Morgan Stanley, Union Station, Holy Cross, and the U.S. General Services Administration have produced multiple projects in and around the region.

The office, specializing in high-performance engineering, consulting and commissioning work, needed to move to a downtown site that offered both greater efficiency and closer proximity to the firm’s current clients and projects. This new site proved to be the ideal solution, with an open space layout optimized to increase productivity and a location in the heart of the downtown D.C. region that is centralized to other nearby markets including Northern Virginia and Maryland.

“The entire D.C. team is energized by the move into our new home,” stated Terrigno. “The relocation was driven by our firm commitment to better serve our clients. The new location’s proximity to our clients and projects will enable us to better serve and expand our presence in the D.C. business community. In addition, our new open studio layout promotes our collaborative approach, delivering all services seamlessly. We’re particularly pleased that our presence downtown will boost our recruiting efforts with the extraordinary young talent available in the D.C. market.”
