Sundt Construction has promoted Sean Falvey to Vice President and Sacramento Regional Director for Sundt’s Building Group, California District. As Sundt’s new leader Falvey will oversee Sundt’s Northern California building projects and collaborate closely with senior leadership on long-term strategy and planning.

Sean is taking the reins for Sacramento at an exciting time. In alignment with our strategy, this region spans a diverse geographic area with a broad range of clients and work types. The Sacramento region has played an essential role in the California District’s recent growth and will continue to do so in the future.”

Sean joined Sundt in 2017 and has nearly 20 years of industry experience. He is a very skilled professional with a significant amount of large project experience, including the Ernest E. Tschannen Science Complex at California State University, Sacramento. He was also an instrumental leader for the Hornet Commons student housing project on the same campus. 

Falvey is active in the Sacramento community and currently serves as a Construction Industry Education Foundation (CIEF) Board Trustee. He has also been a member of the Sacramento Regional Builders Exchange and served as a CREATE Mentor and a member of the CREATE board of directors. In addition, Falvey is a LEED® Accredited Professional (AP BD+C), certified Design-Build Professional, and certified Healthcare Constructor. Falvey holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Santa Clara University and a master’s degree in business administration from Sacramento State.

Sundt has over 70 years of diverse project work throughout California. The company is currently working on the new Shasta County Courthouse in Redding, Calif. In the Bay Area, the company is constructing one of the largest projects in the region for the City of San Mateo on its new Wastewater Treatment Plant’s nutrient removal and wet weather flow management upgrade and expansion, as well as building the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission’s new Southeast Water Pollution Control plant’s new headworks facility. The company has offices in Sacramento, Irvine, and San Diego.
