Toledo, Ohio — SSOE Group, a global project delivery firm specializing in engineering, architecture, and construction management, announced their certification as a "Great Workplace" by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work. SSOE earned this credential based on exemplary ratings provided by their employees in an anonymous survey.

"This honor reflects our dedication to employee prosperity by striving to provide the best possible workplace. We have made a commitment as an organization to focus on employee engagement and career growth opportunities," said Bob Howell, President and CEO of SSOE Group. "The results from this survey reinforce that we are concentrating on the right areas as we continue to develop and place emphasis on our four areas of focus: clients, culture, collaboration, and employees. I'm extremely excited and pleased that we've received this honor from Great Place to Work."

In the past decade, SSOE has grown significantly and expanded its staff by 50 percent. The firm added four new offices over the last year in new geographic markets and has experienced its highest revenue in the company's 67-year history during the first six months of its 2016 fiscal year.

Kim Peters, Vice President of Great Place to Work's Recognition Program, praised SSOE saying, "We applaud SSOE Group for seeking certification and releasing its employees' feedback. These ratings measure its capacity to earn its own employees' trust and create a great workplace — critical metrics that anyone considering working for, or doing business with, SSOE should take into account as an indicator of high performance."

SSOE offers its U.S.-based employees an extensive list of benefits programs and employee perks that contributed to recognition as a great workplace. These include: flexible scheduling, buy/sell PTO (paid time off) option to buy up to 40 hours of additional PTO or to sell up to 80 hours of PTO, yearly onsite health screenings, subsidized gym memberships, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) plan that matches 50 percent of employee contributions up to 6 percent.

In addition, SSOE takes pride in events that encourage employee engagement such as the annual "Hackathon" event and CEO advisory groups that give staff at all levels and generations access to present their ideas to senior management. According to the Great Place to Work survey, more than 90 percent of employees cited that the company offers great challenges, a great atmosphere, and great bosses.
