Simpson Strong-Tie Donates $10,000 to Girls Inc. of Alameda County

Pleasanton, Calif. — Simpson Strong-Tie, the leader in engineered structural connectors and building solutions, donated $10,000 to Girls Inc. of Alameda County to help support middle school girls in academic excellence and empowerment through curricula covering STEM/STEAM, healthy bodies and healthy relationships, and access to tutoring, athletics, nutrition, gardening and educational field trips.

The annual donation will support the All STARS! program, which is designed to meet the needs of 6^th–8^th grade girls who live in some of Alameda County’s most underinvested neighborhoods, primarily in and around the city of Oakland. All STARS! operates during the school year and offers a summer session for those who wish to engage year-round.
