Scott Savage to Lead Advanced Facilities and Multi-Site Programs at WSP

Versatile building industry veteran joins the firm to enhance advanced manufacturing capabilities and ensure delivery of high-quality multi-site programs nationally.

HOUSTON — WSP, a leading engineering, environment, and professional services consultancy, hired Scott Savage as senior vice president for advanced facilities and multi-site programs across the U.S. Property and Buildings business.

Advanced facilities encompass complex, multidisciplinary planning and design within the technology-driven manufacturing sector. Savage brings both technical and leadership excellence to the role gleaned from 24 years of experience in the built environment. His expertise includes design and project management within healthcare, aviation, energy and power, corporate commercial, and electric vehicle (EV) and battery sectors.

In his most recent role, Savage led cross-disciplinary teams in advancing EVs and battery development.

“Advanced manufacturing facilities are at a point of particular significance in our country, in part, because they contribute to quality enhancement, efficiency and productivity, higher-paying labor opportunities and climate benefits,” Savage said.

“Scott is a client-focused leader committed to motivating and growing teams,” said Alastair MacGregor, WSP senior vice president and U.S. Property and Buildings leader. “He will be at the forefront of energy transition, ensuring that WSP projects and clients are Future Ready®.”

Savage, who is based in WSP’s Houston office, is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He serves on the Mechanical Engineering Advisory Council at his alma mater.
