Rising Stars in Multidiscipline Engineering – Takashi M. Makino, CFM

Takashi Makino has nearly 10 years of experience in hazard mitigation planning and floodplain management.  He began his career in hazard mitigation planning with the City of League City, Texas, where he served as the city’s floodplain management coordinator.  His work ensured that floodplain management projects remained viable options for the city’s grant applications.  Tak also ensured that the city’s storm sewer system remained in compliance with state and federal regulations.  Since joining LAN in 2015 he has been involved in the firm’s CRS projects, including two reverification projects with the City of Houston.
