Rising Stars Awards now open to professionals in any AEC discipline

Zweig Group is excited to announce an expansion to its robust awards program with the growth of The Rising Stars Awards. 

Originally developed by CE News and Structural Engineer Magazine (now C+S Engineer Media), these awards formerly recognized young professionals only in the civil and structural engineering disciplines. As part of our mission to Elevate the Industry, Zweig Group has decided to expand this award to cover the entire AEC industry.

Nominees should have a record of demonstrated exceptional ability and professional accomplishments related to the AEC Industry in one or more of the following capacities: management; leadership; teaching; research; and/or public service. These are the future role models and leaders who will shape their firms and professions, leading to a more sustainable AEC industry. Nominees must be 40 years of age or younger as of Dec. 31, 2019.

Rising Star Award winners will be featured in a special issue of Civil + Structural Engineer Magazine (read about the 2019 Rising Stars here) and honored at Zweig Group’s annual conference, the Elevate AEC Conference, in October in Denver, CO. Recent sponsors of this conference include Core Consultants.

Along with this announcement, Zweig Group has extended the nomination deadline to May 1, 2020.
