PCI Foundation Hires New Executive Director

CHICAGO, July 5, 2023 – The PCI Foundation is excited to announce the appointment of Ray Clark as its new executive director. With a proven track record of leadership and success in precast concrete, Clark is set to bring a fresh perspective to the organization, focusing on collaboration and growth to expand its reach and educational impact for students nationwide.

In his new role, Clark will work closely with the Board of Directors and Foundation supporters to propel the organization to new heights. He will work to strengthen connections between industry partners and educational institutions, providing transformative educational experiences for students across the country.

“Ray’s experience in precast leadership — including here at the PCI Foundation — make him a perfect fit as our new executive director,” said Greg Force, PCI Foundation Chairman. “His ability to drive growth and foster collaboration will support our industry and countless students’ futures. His enthusiasm for future generations is infectious and with Ray at the helm, we are poised for transformative progress.”

Clark takes over in mid-September from Marty McIntyre, the outgoing executive director, who has served the organization with distinction for more than 11 years. McIntyre’s tireless efforts and unwavering commitment have been instrumental to the foundation’s stability and helping connect PCI grantees with resources that shaped the future of thousands of engineering, architecture, and construction management students.

Before assuming his new role, Clark most recently served as the executive director of PCI’s Georgia/Carolinas chapter, where he worked to increase awareness and use of precast concrete solutions. Prior to his role at the the chapter, Clark was president at US Formliner, and he has also sat on the PCI Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

The PCI Foundation currently has over 20 active studios in architectural, construction management and engineering schools across the nation transforming future generations within the built community.
