Parsons Brinckerhoff named Employer of the Year by WTS Portland Chapter

Portland, Ore. — Parsons Brinckerhoff was named Employer of the Year by the Portland, Ore., chapter of WTS International. The firm was recognized by WTS Portland for its commitment to equality in the workplace, the participation of its employees in professional organizations such as WTS, and its diversity initiatives to promote opportunities for women and minorities within the company.

Parsons Brinckerhoff’s Portland office has been serving the Northwest since 1989, providing planning, environmental, design, and construction-phase services for transit systems, tunnels, bridges, and highways to a variety of federal, state, and local agencies. The firm has made significant contributions to the region’s transportation system, including TriMet’s Westside MAX line to Hillsboro and the Interstate MAX extension, the C-TRAN’s Bus Rapid Transit project, Lane Transit District’s Bus Rapid Transit system, and the City of Vancouver’s BNSF Waterfront Access project.
