PAPE-DAWSON ENGINEERS ANNOUNCES THE PROMOTION OF AMANDA EDMONDSON, P.E. TO VICE PRESIDENT

Since 2009, Edmonson has engineered more than 30 residential communities across the Greater Houston region

HOUSTON, TX — This month, civil engineering firm Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc. announced the promotion of Amanda Edmondson, P.E. to Vice President. The first employee added to the Pape-Dawson Houston team, Edmondson played an integral role in growing the Houston office when it first expanded to the region in 2009. She has been involved in every single-family residential community Pape-Dawson has engineered in the area—more than 8,000 homes covering 3,000 acres of residential development—and has engineered more than 30 residential communities across Greater Houston. Edmondson will continue to lead land development projects for the firm in the region.

Edmondson joined Pape-Dawson in 2003. During her time with the firm, Edmondson has successfully provided feasibility analyses on residential land development projects; construction cost estimates; Municipal Utility District creation and consultation; construction management; permitting; and the design of roadway, grading, drainage and utility infrastructure. Some of her most recent notable projects include Forbes Crossing and Sunset Crossing. Edmondson also led Pape-Dawson’s effort to create two new utility districts and managed the installation of the initial public water system for the City of Arcola.

Edmondson earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2003. She is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas.
