MVE + PARTNERS PROMOTES TWO NEW PRINCIPALS

MVE + Partners, a leading architectural, design and planning firm, announced earlier this month the promotion of Pieter Berger and Terrence Seah, NCARB to Principal. Each has more than 15 years of professional experience and has moved up within the company from Senior Associate Partner positions.

Berger is a talented designer who has created many of the firm’s most notable mixed-use, residential, and international projects. As the Design Director of the Irvine Office, he explores unique and innovative solutions to create a timeless design with sensitivities to context, materiality, and client goals. Berger has had a prominent role on many current and completed projects including The Residences at Pacific City, The Mandarin Oriental Residences Beverly Hills, Post House in Salt Lake City, Dixon Place in Salt Lake City, and The Ritz Carlton Residences Newport Beach. He is a volunteer mentor for high school and university architecture students and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture with Honors from the University of California, Berkeley.

Seah is an experienced architect who leads many of the firm’s large scale, complex, urban, mixed-use projects with an emphasis on bringing a design vision to a constructable reality that meets MVE’s client goals. As Director of MVE’s San Francisco Studio, Seah is passionate in realizing design visions and has the distinctive ability to facilitate collaborative teams on multifamily, mixed-use, and urban infill assignments. As a thought leader, he brings to his team extensive knowledge in the areas of building systems and technical coordination that he applies to the management of complex large-scale projects. Seah is currently overseeing several thousand new units in the firm’s northern California portfolio. He holds two Masters’ degrees from the University of California, Berkeley; one in Architecture; the other in Structural Engineering. His Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering & Material Science is from Cornell University.
