Mott MacDonald’s Moata platform continues its evolution with the introduction of Moata Marketplace and its first partner product.
Mott MacDonald’s Moata Marketplace is a new area where clients can access the best engineering innovation on demand, including all Moata solutions, as well as a carefully curated selection of the world’s most powerful infrastructure software solutions.
SAALG’s Daarwin software, which optimises and improves sustainability on construction projects by reducing geotechnical uncertainties, is the first of Mott MacDonald’s partner products to be hosted on Moata and readied for use.
In 2021 Mott MacDonald invested in SAALG, the innovative Spanish geotechnics company, and its Daarwin software was quickly identified as being of immediate benefit to clients and complementing the existing Augmented Delivery solutions, necessitating its fast track onto the Moata Marketplace.
Having the Marketplace and providing access to partner solutions via Moata, benefits both clients and partners. Moata provides a suite of integrated and interoperable digital solutions in one place, so clients can unlock the latest innovation through connected solutions creating a digital twin platform. Partners can showcase their solutions to Mott MacDonald’s client network, allowing them to reach a larger number of prospective customers.
Establishing a Marketplace on Moata enables Mott MacDonald to bring the best technologies to the fore to enhance infrastructure delivery and operations, delivering improved outcomes for clients and society.
Tony O’Brien, global practice leader for geotechnics at Mott MacDonald said “Daarwin offers cutting edge geotechnics technology. Through integrating construction monitoring data, ground models and advanced ground-structure interaction analysis with machine learning algorithms in a single platform, it provides us with a powerful tool for optimising project outcomes”.
