Milhouse Engineering ranks among Chicagos Best for diversity

Chicago — For the 11th consecutive year, Milhouse Engineering & Construction, Inc. has won an award for creating a work culture that enriches and engages employees. The Chicago’s 101 Best & Brightest Companies to Work For recognizes top companies based on best practices for human resource programs such as compensation, work-life balance and diversity.

This year, in addition to Milhouse’s rank among the top 101 companies in Chicago, the firm also won an Elite Award for a staff that reflects outstanding diversity.

Milhouse “actively reaches out to underserved populations to recruit and cultivate talent and, in 2015, boasted a staff comprised of nearly 50 percent of individuals who identified with an ethnic minority group,’’ WBBM radio personality Pat Cassidy said before announcing the Elite Award for Diversity and Inclusion given by the National Association of Business Resources (NABR). Milhouse received one of 13 Elite awards.
