MIDATLANTIC ENGINEERING WELCOMES <strong>JOHN KERBER AS A PARTNER IN THE FIRM</strong>

MidAtlantic Engineering Partners (MidAtlantic), a civil, environmental, and marine engineering and surveying firm, is pleased to announce that John F. Kerber P.E., LSRP has been named a partner in the firm.  In 2016, John joined MidAtlantic for the express purpose of launching the company’s Environmental Services Division.  This service branch’s success has been nothing short of outstanding and John has established himself as an industry leader in the field.

John is a Licensed Site Remediation Professional and Professional Engineer.  He has over 30 years of environmental engineering experience investigating, monitoring, and remediating contaminants in the air, ground water, and soil.  John’s experience includes the conduct and management of ISRA Compliance, Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, Preliminary Assessments, Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, work plan preparation and implementation, permitting, remedial actions, underground and aboveground storage tank management, health and safety plan preparation and implementation, air monitoring, construction monitoring and management, alternative fill import/export, and handling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

“Having spent the past six plus years here, I am thankful for the opportunity to now become a partner and to take this next step helping lead the firm into the future,” Kerber said.  “Thanks to the partner team, MidAtlantic has seen consistent growth over the last decade, and I look forward to having a part in continuing the trend as we branch into new markets and grow in our geographic footprint.”

MidAtlantic’s founding partners, Louis Zuegner and William Parkhill, are very excited that John has agreed to take on the added responsibilities of becoming a partner.  

“Since joining the company, John has built the Environmental Division from the ground up, which has been a tremendous asset to the firm,” Zuegner said.  “His ability to be a strategic thinker and contribute cross-functionally enhances our technical work product and ability to provide innovative solutions to our customers.”

John Kerber is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Chemical Engineering.  In addition to earning his P.E. and LSRP licenses, John has an NJDEP Underground Storage Tank Certification in all categories.
