MidAtlantic Engineering Partners Announces Larry Leso as the Newest Addition to the Firm

Hamilton, New Jersey: MidAtlantic Engineering Partners (MidAtlantic), a civil, environmental, marine engineering, and surveying firm, is pleased to announce that Lawrence Leso, P.E., P.L.S. has joined the MidAtlantic team to support our existing survey department and expand surveying services in southeast Pennsylvania.

Leso’s career has been focused on providing superior survey services in Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware counties. As a Senior Project Surveyor, Leso will provide regional in-house surveying support to MidAtlantic’s civil engineering, surveying, environmental, and marine engineering departments, and oversee all surveys prepared in MidAtlantic’s Media office. Leso maintains a P.L.S. license for Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, Connecticut, New York, and Delaware; and is P.E. licensed in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Connecticut.

Leso is an active member and Vice President of the Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors, the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying, and has held a position as an adjunct professor with Drexel University’s College of Engineering for the past six years. Course topics and areas of expertise include construction surveying and construction management.

“I am passionate about providing a quality service,” Leso said.  “Joining MidAtlantic is a great fit for me as their core values align well with my personal values.  I look forward to leveraging my career experiences and MidAtlantic’s excellent reputation to grow the business, innovate new surveying solutions, and help train and manage a top-notch team of surveying experts.”

MidAtlantic’s founding partners, Louis Zuegner and William Parkhill, are excited to have Leso as a senior member of the survey team, who will be key to the long-term growth and excellence of the company.

“Lawrence is a tremendous asset to our company.  He brings a well-rounded background that aligns well with the diversity of our clients,” Louis Zuegner said.  “He has an innate ability to work on several jobs simultaneously and to manage projects from start to finish.  He has already hit the ground running providing extraordinary input to our current work, and we look forward to his continued contributions in the years ahead.”

“Lawrence brings a tremendous amount of passion and knowledge of surveying services to our growing team,” said William Parkhill. “He will be an incredibly valuable asset to the company, and we are proud to have him on board.  He will strengthen our ability to service our current and future municipal, institutional, and private sector clients.”

Leso has over 20 years of experience in the industry, heavily focused in southeast Pennsylvania and the neighboring states. Most recently, he served as Survey Manager for Pennoni Associates where he spent much of his career. He is a graduate of Drexel University and the New Jersey Institute of Technology and is a licensed Professional Engineer and Land Surveyor.

Larry is a lifelong Mummer, playing saxophone with the Polish American String Band in Philadelphia’s New Year’s Day Mummers Parade. He lives in Havertown, PA with his wife, Elena, and is the proud father of Connor and Maggie, making their way through Sacred Heart Elementary School.
