Michael Baker International names Brian Lutes president and CEO

Pittsburgh — Michael Baker International named Brian A. Lutes as president and CEO, and Dale R. Spaulding as executive vice president and COO.

Lutes brings to the position nearly 30 years of leadership and management experience spanning audit and finance, human resources and operations, including 15 years with General Electric.  He has served as both COO and CFO at Michael Baker where he has made significant contributions to the growth of the company.

Spaulding brings more than 30 years of experience in civil engineering, environmental planning and construction management including infrastructure projects. He has been with Michael Baker for six years and most recently led the company’s largest operation, its Pennsylvania Headquarters Region.

Lutes succeeds Kurt C. Bergman, who had been CEO since 2013.
