METRO CONSULTING ASSOCIATES ANNOUNCES LEADERSHIP CHANGE AND TEAM EXPANSION TO STRENGTHEN FIRM’S MARKET POSITION

Focus on strategic growth in land development and municipal services to complement firm’s existing power and energy capabilities

PLYMOUTH, Mich.—Metro Consulting Associates (MCA), a multi-faceted engineering, energy, land, and community development firm, today announced the promotion of Damon L. Garrett, PE, to the role of President and the addition of Kimberly C. Hoyle as Business Development Director and Andrea M. Eberle as Marketing Manager. The leadership shift coupled with the new hires enhances MCA’s core expertise and existing team capabilities to jumpstart growth plans as the firm heads into its next decade of operation.

“After more than 10 years in operation, MCA is ready for more,” stated Garrett. “Our aim is to bolster existing strengths in land surveying, transmission, and renewables markets and parlay this expertise into growing our land development, municipal, and newly added construction materials testing services to diversify our offering, which is critical to the continued success of our clients and the business.”

About Damon Garrett

Garrett now reports to the president of Corby Energy Services, MCA’s parent company, and is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of key growth initiatives for MCA services, markets, and geographic regions throughout the United States. As a founding member of MCA, Garrett started with the firm as Director of Engineering in 2009 and most recently served as Vice President and Director of Operations prior to his promotion where he was instrumental in solidifying MCA’s visionary goals and energizing its diverse and unique organizational culture that emphasizes employee empowerment to positively impact the overall client experience.

Garrett brings over 20 years of civil engineering, project management, and executive leadership experience to this role, leveraging his ability to build, grow, and enable high-performing teams. He has worked with several A/E/C firms throughout southeast Michigan including OHM Advisors, Atwell, LLC, Boss Engineering, and SSOE Group to name a few. A licensed professional engineer in 21 states, Garrett received his Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Michigan State University, is a member of the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers, and past member of the Canton Township Planning Commission.

About Kimberly Hoyle

As Director of Business Development, Hoyle will lead MCA’s growth strategy for its land development and municipal services. Hoyle comes to MCA with nearly 20 years of experience in marketing, sales, and business growth leadership in the A/E/C and telecommunications industries. She most recently led strategic marketing efforts for the Detroit office of global design firm NORR. Prior to that she was Director of Business Development and Marketing for Detroit-based architectural firm Hamilton Anderson Associates, where she spearheaded the firm’s go-to-market strategy and satellite office launch in Atlanta, GA. Hoyle is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Detroit Chapter’s Programs Committee, was a 2018 Crain’s Detroit 40 under 40 honoree, and earned her BBA in marketing and BA in Japanese from Eastern Michigan University.

About Andrea Eberle

Eberle joins MCA as Marketing Manager with over 15 years of marketing experience in branding, product development, communications, and operational leadership to transform MCA’s market position, visibility, and outreach to facilitate key growth initiatives. Her resume includes a successful track record with high-growth startups, global corporations, and publicly traded companies in the life sciences, financial, and consumer markets, along with six years dedicated to the engineering and land development industry. Prior to MCA, Eberle was Director of New Product Commercialization with Zomedica, a publicly traded animal health company, where she was responsible for strategy, planning, and execution of commercial launch for new products and services. Eberle is Pragmatic Marketing Certified through the Pragmatic Institute and holds a BBA with concentrations in marketing and economics from the University of Michigan-Flint and AAS in photographic illustration from Lansing Community College.
