McKim & Creed grows water resources services, expands Georgia presence

RALEIGH, N.C. — McKim & Creed Inc. expanded its water resources services in Georgia with the addition of employees from Atlanta-based Infratec Consultants Inc. Established in Atlanta in 2002, Infratec Consultants specializes in engineering services related to water and wastewater infrastructure, with particular expertise in the planning and design of new surface water reservoirs and treatment facilities. Key Infratec principals and support staff have joined McKim & Creed and will continue working in Atlanta.

“Infratec has been providing water and wastewater engineering services to city and county governments, water authorities, and the State of Georgia for over 10 years, with individual experience ranging to over 30 years,” said Street Lee, P.E., senior vice president with McKim & Creed. “What’s unique is Infratec’s expertise in surface water resources planning, permitting and engineering. This enables McKim & Creed to assist clients with water-related challenges in Georgia, as well as other regions that rely more heavily on surface water sources for drinking water.”

McKim & Creed opened its first Georgia office in 2008 and provides geomatics (surveying) services from its location in Lawrenceville. The Atlanta office will offer water resources engineering and GIS services and will be the company’s second office in the Greater Atlanta area.

“McKim & Creed is a growing, thriving company that stays on the cutting edge of technology and innovation. We are very excited about being able to offer our clients more services and more resources, while maintaining our Atlanta presence,” said Bob Troxler, P.E., former president of Infratec and now senior project manager with McKim & Creed.
