McCarthy Building Companies Strengthens San Diego Leadership Team with Key Promotions   

Executives to enhance safety and self-perform divisions to deliver superior client outcomes

San Diego, Calif.– McCarthy Building Companies Inc., one of the nation’s oldest and largest privately held construction firms, announces a pair of promotions in San Diego, Ca. – Brianna Bleakley to Regional Concrete Director for the Southern Pacific Region and Jose Bojorquez to Regional Safety Director, overseeing safety performance in San Diego and Las Vegas, Nev. These two promotions strengthen McCarthy’s regional leadership team, adding key experience and expertise. 

For the past 12 years, Bleakley has been known throughout McCarthy for her enthusiasm in training craft professionals and fostering career growth within skilled trades. In her new position, Bleakley will lead self-perform concrete efforts with a focus on consistency in execution, safety, workforce development, and aligning practices with McCarthy’s strategic goals. She will play a significant role in supporting the region’s strategic growth plan to expand its capabilities through strengthened in-house expertise.

Bojorquez, also a McCarthy veteran of more than 12 years, will lead regional and company-wide initiatives, ensuring the continued enhancement of McCarthy’s industry-leading safety culture. As the Regional Safety Director role, he will oversee training, communication, case management, and policy improvements while driving proactive strategies across San Diego and Las Vegas. A champion of operational excellence, Bojorquez has been instrumental in fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
