Matt Mooney Joins Menard Group USA as Senior Estimating Engineer

TAMPA, Fla. — Matt Mooney, P.E., joins Menard Group USA, a design-build geotechnical contractor, as a Senior Estimating Engineer in the Southeast region. He works out of Menard Group USA’s Tampa office.

Mooney is responsible for the preparation of takeoffs, designs, estimates, and proposals for all of Menard Group USA’s  ground improvement solutions, including Controlled Modulus Columns™, Bi-Modulus Columns, Vibro Compaction, Vibro Stone Columns, Rapid Impact Compaction, Dynamic Compaction, Dynamic Replacement. Wick Drains, Earthquake (EQ) Drains, and Soil Mixing.  His responsibilities also include supporting business development and construction efforts.

Prior to Menard Group USA, Mooney spent eight years as a geotechnical consultant working on a diverse range of projects throughout the Southeast.  He holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Penn State, an MS in Geotechnical/Structural Engineering from Central Florida and is a Professional Engineer in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.
