Vernon Hills, Ill. — Manhard Consulting acquired Tamarack Consulting, LLC., a Denver-based civil engineering firm that specializes in oil and gas, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Colorado special districts.
The acquisition of Tamarack Consulting complements Manhard’s overall civil engineering offerings, specifically expanding Manhard’s oil and gas services for regulatory permitting, land survey for right-of-way acquisition and machine control, as well as water storage and transport systems. With enhanced GIS services, Manhard strengthens its ability to collaborate with its clients to make informed decisions and avoid unforeseen circumstances throughout all phases of infrastructure and land development projects. With the depth of Tamarack’s special districts capabilities, Manhard is now even better positioned to offer planning, design and construction management services to Colorado’s schools, parks and recreation, fire protection, water and sanitation, and metropolitan districts.
“The breadth of expertise and experience that Tamarack brings to the table in specific areas of our business broadens our appeal, especially with our land development and oil and gas clients,” said Don Manhard Jr., president and CEO of Manhard Consulting. “We consistently look for opportunities to better serve our growing customer base, and this strategic acquisition will allow us to expand and excel at everything we do.”
“With our capabilities now combined, our clients will be the true beneficiaries of this merger,” states Timothy McCarthy, owner of Tamarack Consulting. “We look forward to working with Manhard’s existing Centennial, Colorado office while contributing to the growth of Manhard throughout Colorado and the country.”
Tamarack Consulting will now be a division of Manhard Consulting and operate out of offices in Lakewood and Greeley, Colorado. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
