KLEINFELDER ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF ANN MASSEY TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

SAN DIEGO, California – The Kleinfelder Group, Inc. (Kleinfelder), a leading engineering, design, construction management, construction materials inspection and testing, and environmental professional services firm, announced today that Ann Massey has been appointed to the firm’s Board of Directors.  

Ann has held several senior executive positions throughout her more than 30 years of professional services industry experience.  Prior to her appointment on Kleinfelder’s Board of Directors, Ann led multiple top 10 global environmental engineering infrastructure businesses in President and CEO roles from 2008-2019.  Under her leadership, the businesses achieved impressive growth across diversified markets.  As President and CEO of Environment and Infrastructure Solutions of Wood Group (Wood), a position she held from 2017-2019, Ann had responsibility for overseeing 6,500 employees located in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East.  During Ann’s tenure, the organization achieved significant market diversification and advanced the integration of the Environment and Infrastructure Solutions business with oil and gas, mining, and power and process market segments.  Prior to Wood, Ann served in multiple senior roles at Amec Foster Wheeler (Amec) from 2011-2017, including President – Global Market Sector Leader for Environment and Infrastructure, and President of Global Environment and Infrastructure, leading 5,500 employees to sustainable growth and profitability.  Prior to Amec, Ann was President and CEO of 3,000+ employees at MACTEC, where she focused on accelerating profitability and growth by directing day-to-day operations of the Environment and Infrastructure organization.

In addition to Ann’s extensive industry and leadership contributions, she has been recognized as one of the most “Influential Women in Energy” by Oil and Gas Investor|Hart Energy and identified as one of the “Top 100 Influential Women in Georgia” by Engineering Georgia. She was also selected as an Honorary Member of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists.

Ann holds a B.S. in geology and an MBA from Tennessee Technological University.
