Justin Petersen Named Olsson’s Civil Infrastructure Leader 

Justin Petersen has been named Olsson’s Civil Infrastructure Leader. Petersen is responsible for growing technical excellence and developing services within the discipline. He oversees site design, landscape architecture and planning, airport and rail design, road and bridge design, telecommunications services and traffic and technology services. 

“Justin has the qualities and experience that we need to run our Civil Infrastructure discipline,” said Len Swartz, Olsson’s Executive Vice President of Disciplines. “He’s been a major factor in our success for many years and I look forward to working with him in his new role.”  

Petersen has been at Olsson for more than two decades and has extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams and projects and managing client relationships. He received his bachelor’s in civil engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. 

Olsson restructured its senior leadership group to position the firm for continued growth and success. The senior leadership group now includes leaders for Olsson’s disciplines, markets and geographies. It also includes senior directors for both IT and Operations.
