Henderson Building Solutions Celebrates 10 Years with Record $74M in Revenue

National Design-Build Firm Achieves Record 135% Year-Over-Year Revenue Growth and Appoints New Executive Management Team at 10-Year Milestone

LENEXA, Kan. — Henderson Building Solutions, a national design-build construction management and commissioning firm, proudly announces a revenue milestone and new leadership as the firm reaches 10 years of operations. Established in 2013, Henderson Building Solutions ended 2023 with $74 million in gross annual revenue, a 135% year-over-year revenue increase and record for the firm, which is a sister company of national building systems design firm Henderson Engineers.

“We’re thrilled to reach our 10th anniversary while also achieving our most successful year yet, and plan to continue this momentum,” said Steve Hancock, Henderson Building Solutions President. “Providing turnkey solutions for infrastructure replacement and enhancement in existing buildings is the core of our business. The growth we’ve experienced is a testament to our team’s client-first commitment and expertise as leaders in the design-build industry.”

Henderson Building Solutions attributes its gangbuster company growth to industry diversification. Originally focused on commissioning and facility enhancements for healthcare projects, the firm has since expanded its turnkey solutions for critical infrastructure projects to 13 industries: aviation, entertainment, grocery, health, higher education, infrastructure, K-12 education, mission critical, retail, science and technology, sports, warehouse, and workplace.

To help support the firm’s ongoing exponential growth, Henderson Building Solutions announced four new executive management roles:

• Earl Wilcox, Vice President of Mission Critical: A 23-year engineering and construction industry veteran, Wilcox will oversee strategic planning, construction, and client development for the firm’s mission critical business unit. He brings previous experience as a mission critical general manager to this fast-growing market, providing leadership for turnkey infrastructure replacement and design projects for data centers nationwide.
• Jamison Clark, Vice President of Construction Operations: Clark will direct construction management, safety, and quality assurance firmwide. Formerly a construction operations director, he brings more than 28 years of experience managing client and operational services for private construction firms to the role.
• Nick Lynch, Vice President of Project Development: Lynch will lead all aspects of project development, including preconstruction services, engineering coordination, and business development. He brings more than 22 years of industry experience to the role, most recently as Building Solutions’ preconstruction director.
• Travis Short, Vice President of Commissioning: Short, a 23-year industry veteran, will oversee strategic planning, team development, project execution, and client development for commissioning activities. This includes managing commissioning team members to ensure buildings operate at their peak performance and exceed client expectations. Short was most recently Building Solutions’ commissioning director.

Originally known as Outcome Construction Services, the firm renamed to Henderson Building Solutions in 2017 to better align with sister company Henderson Engineers. Together, as Henderson Companies, the two companies are industry leaders in the design, construction, and ongoing maintenance needs of all types of facilities across multiple industries.
