HDR offices participate in Earth Week 2017 events

Omaha, Neb. — As part of Earth Week, April 16-22, 2017, HDR offices are hosting or participating in clean-up or tree planting volunteer events. Organizers have set a goal of 100 events this year to commemorate HDR’s 100-year anniversary. The events will continue through May.

The events are led by HDR’s Green Teams and planned in conjunction with a corporate campaign called Greening Our Communities. This is the third year HDR has planned these types of events to celebrate Earth Week. Last year nearly 50 offices participated.

Green Teams are employees who help build a culture of sustainability in our local offices by promoting sustainability through office improvements, education and events; and help us work towards our greenhouse gas emission reduction target. HDR has nearly 70 active Green Teams.
