HCSS Announces its 33rd Annual User’s Group Meeting

This year’s single session will include special demonstrations and classes for the construction industry

SUGAR LAND, Texas — HCSS, the trusted leader in construction software for estimating, field entry, project management, safety, digital plans, fleet management, and telematics, is thrilled to announce the upcoming 33rd User’s Group Meeting (UGM) in 2024. UGM 2024 marks a significant milestone as, for the first time in over 30 years, it will be a single session, taking place from February 13-15. UGM has played a pivotal role in HCSS’s history, serving as a platform for companies to enhance their utilization of HCSS software, share feedback for future software versions, exchange best practices, gain insights on industry trends, and foster a sense of community and enjoyment.

Aside from 2021, HCSS has continued its tradition of hosting UGM since 1990, bringing together construction professionals dedicated to advancing their skills and industry knowledge. The inaugural UGM in 1990 saw eight attendees. Fast forward to UGM 2023, where a remarkable 1,560 attendees from over 420 companies gathered, learning from a selection of over 200 classes.

This evolution reflects the increasing popularity and importance of UGM in the construction industry. This year’s event will be hosted across two downtown Houston hotels, with Hilton Americas-Houston focusing on estimating classes and Marriott Marquis Houston catering to operations and fleet classes.

A noteworthy addition to UGM 2024 is a class showcasing HCSS Insights, a new reporting solution powered by Power BI. This innovative tool provides users with enhanced insights into key metrics for estimates, jobs, safety, and equipment, empowering them to make informed decisions and effectively manage their companies.

The highlight of UGM 2024 will be the grand, final night celebration hosted at Minute Maid Park, the iconic home of the Houston Astros. Attendees can anticipate an evening filled with networking, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories. Recognizing that UGM 2024 coincides with Valentine’s Day, HCSS is introducing a special guest program. This program allows attendees to bring a plus one to experience the vibrant city of Houston alongside UGM activities, all with the convenience of the All Inclusive Guest Pass.

HCSS remains committed to fostering collaboration, innovation, and learning within the heavy civil construction community, and UGM 2024 promises to elevate these efforts to the “Next Level.”
