Hayward Baker’s calendar comes to life with AR app

Hanover, Md. — Hayward Baker, Inc. (HBI) released Geotech Solutions, the first augmented reality (AR) app to be developed by a geotechnical construction firm. The app uses AR to visually demonstrate how HBI leverages the strengths of multiple techniques to provide clients with the optimal solutions for their projects.

The app allows users to scan and download HBI’s 2018 calendar and experience fully illustrated and animated videos showcasing some of the geotechnical construction solutions applied by the company during the last 70 years. It will bring to life future calendars and specifically designed literature and ads.

Taking advantage of HBI’s extensive online library, including the full suite of specialty foundation and ground improvement techniques, the app helps educate consultants and owners on options for any type of subsurface challenge they may face with their project.

The free app includes a location-based contact feature that directs users to the nearest Hayward Baker office regardless of their location across the U.S.
