Hayden Consultants ranked on Aggie 100 and Dallas 100 lists

DALLAS — Hayden Consultants Inc., a Dallas-based civil engineering and surveying firm, has been named to the Aggie 100 and Dallas 100 lists for 2010. Both awards are annual programs that recognize fast-growing companies. A three-time winner, Hayden ranked 28th on the Aggie 100 list. A first-time winner, Hayden ranked 98th on the Dallas 100 list and was the only engineering firm represented.

“We’re very proud to receive these two prestigious honors, especially as we celebrate our 10th year in business,” said Rachel Hayden, P.E., president and founder of Hayden Consultants. “We share these awards with our clients who have placed their trust in us over the past decade.”

Hayden provides sustainable design solutions for clients including the Texas Department of Transportation, municipalities, transit agencies, airports, and the development community throughout the state of Texas.

The Aggie 100 honors the fastest-growing companies in the world that are owned or operated by Texas A&M University former students. A previous Aggie 100 recipient in 2006 and 2007, Hayden Consultants was recognized as No. 28 on this year’s 6th annual ranking. The Aggie 100 honors graduates from across disciplines and is a program of the Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship in Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School. The 100 Aggie-owned or managed companies with the highest compound annual revenue growth from 2007 to 2009 were recognized at Texas A&M University in October. Hayden was also named a first-time recipient of the Dallas 100 Award by the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at SMU’s Cox School of Business. The Dallas 100 Award is an annual event that identifies the 100 fastest-growing privately held companies in the Dallas area. Hayden was ranked 98th among the companies on the 2010 list, presented during a ceremony at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center on Nov. 17. To qualify for the award, a company must be an independent, privately held corporation, proprietorship, or partnership headquartered in the Dallas area. Winners must also demonstrate a three-year sales history reflecting growth and have credit reports and character satisfactory to the Dallas 100.
