Greene Tweed Highlights Dry-Run-Resistant Pump Wear Part Solution at Turbomachinery & Pumps Symposium 2021

Greene Tweed Highlights Dry-Run-Resistant Pump Wear Part Solution at Turbomachinery & Pumps Symposium 2021

Composites with almost universal chemical compatibility to replace metallic wear parts for centrifugal pumps to be showcased at Booth 2719

Lansdale, PA – Greene Tweed, a leading global manufacturer of high-performance sealing solutions and engineered components, will showcase its materials’ solutions at the Turbomachinery & Pump Symposium 2021, held December 14th – 16th at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX at Booth 2719. Greene Tweed will exhibit its line of WR/AR composites, Chemraz®, Fusion®, and Xycomp® pump shells.
Greene Tweed will highlight WR®650, a next-generation PFA/carbon fiber composite with superior dry run characteristics designed to replace metallic wear parts in centrifugal pumps and any other applications where wear resistance is required. Our entire portfolio of WR®/AR® thermoplastic wear and abrasion resistant materials such as WR®600, WR®525 & AR®HT will be on display.
Also on display will be Greene Tweed’s Chemraz®, the ultimate FFKM material, often selected for use in compressors, pumps and mechanical seals for its combination of properties. Chemraz® offers the broadest chemical resistance of any elastomeric material and features higher temperature ratings, up to approximately 325°C (617°F). This combination of high-performance capabilities makes seals manufactured from Chemraz® the premium choice for the most challenging applications.
Don’t miss the Xycomp® DLF composite containment shell for magnetic couplings. These pump shells are used in the magnetic couplings of magnetic pumps and mixers found in the manufacture and treatment of toxic, aggressive, or explosive media as well as refining and chemical applications. The Xycomp® DLF shell can replace metal shells to improve performance and efficiency, reduced heat transfer to minimize energy losses, easy installation and excellent shock and impact resistance.
