Golder plans global changes to strengthen firm

Golder Associates Corporation has undertaken a global evaluation of its business and is taking a series of actions to create a stronger organization. When this program is fully implemented Golder will have reduced its work force by 500 people or 6 percent globally, including the right sizing of corporate services to match the smaller organization.

Building on 54 years of history, these changes will ensure there are balanced teams of strong performers who can deliver excellent work for clients and contribute to the communities in which Golder works. In addition, Golder’s expects its actions to provide greater opportunity for its employees to focus on the core skills and expertise that clients and partners have come to expect from the organization.

“Taking action now means Golder enters 2015 in a strong position, sustaining our competitive edge,” explains Brian Conlin, President & CEO, Golder Associates Corp. “Adjusting to meet dynamic market conditions is essential in any good business. Golder is a strong company with outstanding, talented people. Our clients know us for high quality technical solutions and services and we will continue to provide these with talented teams of people around the world, meeting the needs of our clients and their businesses for decades to come.”
