Brings successful track record in New York City buildings market to new leadership role.
NEW YORK (June 18, 2020) —David Golab has been named vice president of business development for building systems in New York City at WSP USA, a leading engineering and professional services consultancy.
In his new role, Golab will be responsible for client engagement and business development activities for the building systems group, as well as identifying new opportunities that will diversify the business across geographies, sectors and services. He will work closely with the firm’s New York staff and regional leadership to develop and implement tactical action plans and client relation management plans and lead key external marketing and client initiatives.

Prior to joining WSP, Golab served as director of business development for a firm that specializes in the restoration of building exteriors, facades, roofs, windows and parking structures. During his 17 years with the firm he played a critical role in helping the company build its client base and expand into new markets.
Golab is a graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture. He is former member of multiple committees for the Manhattan Community Board 5, providing citizen-level and advisory review of projects for transportation, landmarks, parks and business improvement districts. He was the winner of the 2018 Vanguard of the Year Award from the Society of Marketing Professional Services.
