Acquisition creates a home energy ecosystem benefiting both homeowners and grid operators

(NYSE: GNRC) (“Generac”), a leading global designer, manufacturer and provider of energy technology solutions and other power products, announced that it has closed on the strategic acquisition of ecobee Inc. (“ecobee” or the “Company”), a leader in sustainable smart home solutions. Terms of the acquisition were first announced November 1, 2021.
