Gannett Fleming-GEI Consultants JV selected for USACE contract for independent external peer reviews

BOSTON, MASS. — The Gannet Fleming-GEI Consultants Joint Venture (GF/GEI JV) announced that it has been awarded a contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Louisville District for a maximum amount of $7.2 million with two optional additions of up to $2.4 million each.

The GF/GEI JV combines the considerable talents, experience, and resources of two of the nation’s mid-sized water resources-oriented engineering firms. Gannett Fleming Inc. is an international consulting engineering company active in almost every phase of consulting engineering, and GEI Consultants Inc. is one of the nation’s leading geotechnical, environmental, water resources, and ecological science and engineering firms.

The work will be for architect-engineering independent external peer reviews within the USACE civil works for hurricane and storm damage reduction and flood damage reduction projects. The work is expected to be completed in August 2015.
