FREESE AND NICHOLS ADDS NATIONALLY EXPERIENCED WATER PROGRAM MANAGER CHUCK WOLF

HOUSTON, Texas – Dec. 3, 2019 Freese and Nichols, Inc., has hired Chuck Wolf, D.Eng., PE, BCEE, a nationally recognized program manager who applies his experience as an agency executive, researcher and elected official to help public-sector clients complete large, complex infrastructure projects.

Wolf has led multimillion-dollar projects in multiple states, customizing solutions to client needs so they can maximize their capital investments. He has handled projects for public agencies including the North Texas Municipal Water District, Houston Public Works Department and Dallas Water Utilities, as well as federal-sector clients and entities in California, Arizona and Canada.

He also has conducted research on improving resiliency for communities as a Professor of Practice at Texas A&M University. He is a Freese and Nichols’ Associate based in the Houston office.

“Chuck brings a special mix to our practice. And with his public policy experience, he understands from the inside the hurdles our clients face in completing capital projects,” said Jeff Taylor, Freese and Nichols’ Division Manager for Southeast Texas.

During a career of more than 20 years, Wolf has developed expertise in applying alternative delivery methods to specific needs, including for projects involving disinfection facilities, treatment plants and various utility improvements.

He is registered as a Professional Engineer in Texas, California and Arizona, and he is Board Certified as an Environmental Engineer. At Texas A&M, he teaches a senior civil engineering course in project planning and estimating and supports research for the Texas Department of Transportation on construction management and resiliency/disaster management work applicable to Gulf Coast communities.

He received his doctorate, master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Texas A&M.
