Former vice president of construction will spearhead innovation for continued growth

Clancy & Theys Construction Company (Clancy & Theys) announced the promotion of Baker Glasgow to President. Effective January 1, Baker will define and lead corporate strategy and vision, oversee the company’s operations, and strengthen and enhance the organization’s infrastructure, systems and processes.

“I mean, it’s exciting and there’s entrepreneurial spirit among the people here, the new people, and so that makes it exciting for them,” said Tim Clancy. “Baker and Tom and all the division managers will do a great job, and I think they’ll run the company like my father and uncle did too.”

Since joining Clancy & Theys in 2005, Baker has built and enhanced the company’s workflows and systems, focusing on expanding and innovating the use of technology and fostering collaboration to create “One Clancy” across every division.

As Vice President of Construction, he nurtured an empowering, entrepreneurial, and collaborative environment, which helped ensure the success of the company’s largest and most complex projects and seamless transitions during leadership and ownership changes. During his time as project manager, Baker was an integral part of procuring and implementing a uniform project management and accounting software across all five divisions; he also led the successful and timely completion of the Imperial Tower project.
