Former USDOT Official Launches Monument Square Strategies

CONCORD, MA – Today marks the launch of Monument Square Strategies, a boutique strategic communications, public engagement, and public affairs firm led by Founder and President, Brian Farber, a 20-year, campaign-minded strategist whose extensive career spans the public and private sectors.

Brian served in senior communications and government affairs roles as a political appointee at the U.S. Department of Transportation during the Obama administration and senior communications and policy positions in the U.S. Congress. In the private sector, Farber crafted winning global communications strategies for the largest business unit—architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC)—at Autodesk, a multi-national, publicly traded technology company, and as head of communications and government relations for a battery charging technology startup where he positioned the company for millions in federal grant funding and local tax benefits.

“Communication is personal, and Monument Square Strategies knows how to make emotional human-to-human connections to move clients’ targeted audiences. There’s nothing more rewarding when that connection is made and goals are achieved,” said Farber. “For those seeking an extra set of hands and fresh perspective, Monument Square Strategies will make a significant impact.”

Monument Square Strategies provides a broad range of services, from content development to full-scale strategic campaigns. We support public entities and political causes with issue advocacy and coalition building, venture capital firms with tailored communications and advocacy for their portfolio companies, and startups with flexible and scalable strategies for growth and engagement.
