Design-Builder’s First Market-Rate Multi-Family Project Receives National Recognition for Design-Forward Approach

ORLANDO, FLA– FINFROCK has been honored with two design awards from the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Industry (PCI) for their work on Juno Winter Park, a luxury apartment complex and FINFROCKS’s first market-rate multi-family project to utilize their innovative DualDeck® Building System. PCI recognizes excellence and quality in projects utilizing precast concrete nationwide, honoring the most innovative companies, and is the organization that sets the standard for the most resilient, effective, and versatile precast structures throughout the U.S.

The 2021 PCI Design Awards honors FINFROCK’s work on Juno Winter Park with the Building Information Modeling (BIM) Award for the firm’s comprehensive use of BIM technology and with the highly esteemed Harry H. Edwards Industry Advancement Award that distinguishes FINFROCK as an innovator who elevates the construction industry.

As a result of over a decade of research and development on their proprietary DualDeck® Building System, FINFROCK delivered Juno Winter Park just 11 months after breaking ground– under budget, ahead of schedule, and exceeding customer expectations. Built entirely through durable, precast, prestressed concrete, the DualDeck incorporated electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection into the building components during production, significantly reducing Juno Winter Park’s build-out schedule.
